Here are a few simple scripts you can use:

✨ “That doesn’t work for me, but here’s what I can do.”

Boundaries aren’t walls — they’re acts of self-respect and nervous system care.

Anxiety doesn’t just live in your mind — it hijacks your body.
When your nervous system senses threat (real or imagined), it launches into one of four survival responses:

🔥 Fight – irritation, defensiveness, anger
🏃‍♀️ Flight – restlessness, overworking, escaping
❄️ Freeze – shutdown, overwhelm, feeling stuck
🤝 Fawn – people-pleasing, appeasing, over-accommodating

These are automatic nervous system reactions… not character flaws.

One simple way to shift out of these states:
👉 Lengthen your exhale. Try 4 seconds in, 6 seconds out.
Long exhales signal safety to your brain and help bring your body back online.

Your nervous system isn’t against you — it’s trying to protect you.
You can retrain it with small, consistent practices. 💙
