Medicine on a Mission Workday💙💚

Today, our AdventHealth Manchester team members came together to serve with purpose and compassion. As part of our Medicine on a Mission Workday, we assembled beds for Sleep in Heavenly Peace, a nonprofit organization dedicated to ensuring no child sleeps on the floor.

Thanks to the incredible efforts of our volunteers, we built beds for children ages 3–17 in Clay County who are currently sleeping in unsafe or uncomfortable conditions. Each bed included bedding and was assembled with care, bringing comfort, dignity, and hope to families in need.

This hands-on event reflected our mission to extend Christ’s healing ministry through compassionate service. Together, we made a meaningful impact—one bed at a time.

Celebrating Growth Through Lean Six Sigma Training at AdventHealth Manchester💙💚

This week, our team at AdventHealth Manchester completed Lean Six Sigma training—an exciting step forward in our commitment to continuous improvement and whole-person care. Over the next six weeks, these newly trained team members will begin developing and implementing innovative projects designed to enhance our hospital operations and patient experience.

🩺✨ A First for Our Surgery Team!

Today, our incredible surgical team at AdventHealth Manchester successfully placed our first endoscopic gastric stent—a procedure that helps open blocked areas in the stomach, allowing patients to eat and digest more comfortably.

This minimally invasive technique is often used to relieve symptoms caused by tumors or other obstructions, and it’s a powerful example of how we’re expanding access to advanced care right here in our community.
