RiverWoods Manchester recently joined Elliot Health System at its inaugural Women's Leadership and Health Breakfast. The event featured panels and discussions with female leaders in healthcare and business. "It was an excellent experience for the team to be together with so many strong women who work in healthcare and support others," said RiverWoods Manchester Executive Director, April Bourdon.

We’re proud to share that RiverWoods has earned the 2025 SAGECare Credential! After achieving Platinum status in 2024, we maintained our credential this year through advanced LGBTQ+ aging training. Currently, RiverWoods is one of just three senior living communities in the State of New Hampshire to have received and maintained this credential.

For many LGBTQ+ seniors, moving to a senior living community can raise real concerns about safety, belonging, and acceptance. We believe every older adult deserves not just excellent care, but a true sense of home.

After 34 years in nursing, Carolyn has found a role that perfectly blends her clinical background, her love of learning, and her passion for people. Today, she serves as the RiverWoods Group’s Regional Director of Quality and Compliance. After 14 years with the organization, she says what keeps her here is simple: “There are always opportunities to grow, learn, and find your path.”
