Manchester's only Life Plan Community. Located in beautiful Northwest Manchester. Today, we have officially changed our name to RiverWoods Manchester.

For over 25 years, seniors have found vibrant retirement living on a beautiful 29-acre campus. RiverWoods Manchester's mission continues to provide residents with inviting homes, stimulating enrichment opportunities and top-quality health care. With a full continuum of services, residents enter as independent and are able to transition to Assisted Living, Nursing Care or Memory Care, all within the same community. In 2016, our community was known as Birch Hill and affiliated with the RiverWoods Group of Exeter, NH, which has brought fresh ideas and resources to the table. RiverWoods Manchester is welcoming adults ages 62 or better into newly renovated homes, in many different floor plans. We are pleased to offer an innovative Type B Flex Contract that is the first of its kind in New England. From its launch in September, the Seacoast Dementia Hub has expanded quickly! Program Director, Ashley Seinen, kept the momentum going at The New Hampshire Alliance for Healthy Aging's quarterly meeting, where she introduced how the Seacoast Dementia Hub can partner with aging services providers to connect caregivers to comprehensive memory care services in New Hampshire.

Through collaboration, research, and outreach, we aim to empower families and professionals alike with knowledge and support.

We had a wicked good time attending the 2025 LeadingAge Annual Meeting. With its rich revolutionary history, Boston provided the perfect backdrop for the three days of big ideas and bold conversations.

1773 might have been about spilling the tea, but 2025 was about sharing it.

What an incredible day in Portsmouth! The 2025 Seacoast Walk to End Alzheimer’s brought together more than 1,000 walkers and volunteers, and we were right there in the mix!

Residents and staff from all three RiverWoods communities came out to show their support, and thanks to some impressive fundraising efforts, our team raised $9,901.52 toward this year’s record-breaking campaign. Plus, as the Walk's Healthy Habits Sponsor, our dining team served up brain-healthy snacks from the Kitchen Table food truck. Meanwhile, the Seacoast Dementia Hub was on-site, ready to connect with families and share resources.

Our residents are seriously cool 😎 It only took a little arm twisting from the resident-run ELF (Exploration, Learning, and Fun) Committee to get Bill to share his amazing story as an American diplomat living abroad, and wow, we're glad they did!

Our senior living counselors stepped out from behind their desks and went behind the bar for our latest future resident mixer. These events are a great way for future residents to start building friendships and feel like part of the community before they even arrive. We loved hearing at the end of the night that one group was already making plans to have drinks together at their new cottages once they move in! Cheers to a great night together!
