Congratulations to Jillian Brockway, RN, from our Norwich Clinic on being this year’s Nightingale Recipient for the Root Center.

The Nightingale Award is known for being the highest distinction in Nursing. Jillian is a perfect representation of all this prestigious award stands for, and we are thankful to have her as part of the organization. We were so excited to table at the 2nd annual Middletown Rotary Mental Health Fair! What a great feeling to be part of a community that offers so many resources for adults and children when it comes to mental health. It's true what they say... we are stronger together!

It feels fitting to announce this promotion during !

Join us in congratulating, SuAntoinette Harris, for her promotion to the role of Nurse Supervisor at our Hartford Henderson Johnson Clinic.

Su has been with Root since June of 2025 as a Dosing Nurse at HJ. She has an extensive background in Behavioral Health having worked in Whiting Forensics Hospital as a Forensic Treatment Specialist from 2014-2020, as a Registered Nurse at Institute of Living from 2020-2023, and as a Registered Nurse at Norwalk Hospital's Behavioral Health unit from 2024-2025.

Join us in congratulating our new Facility Director, Jonathan Ruiz, on his recent promotion!

Jonathan has been with Root for the past four years, bringing with him more than 17 years of experience in the field. From the start, he has shown an incredible level of dedication, pride, and care in everything he does. Not just in maintaining our spaces, but in helping create environments where our staff and patients can truly feel supported.

Jon is someone who shows up, steps in, and gets things done, always with a positive attitude and a strong sense of responsibility to the mission of our organization. We are incredibly proud of him and truly excited to see him step into this important and pivotal role!
