There is a moment quiet and unassuming when a woman meets her own eyes in the mirror and does not look away.

That moment changes everything.
The Mirror Exercise is not about appearance.
It’s not about self-love slogans or forcing yourself to say things you don’t believe.
It’s about presence.
Stillness.
Truth.

Most women spend a lifetime looking outward for permission, for safety, for belonging.
We shape-shift to be loved.
We perform to be accepted.
We keep ourselves busy, helpful, and needed… while quietly forgetting the sound of our own voice.

The Mirror brings you back.
It is a simple, sacred practice.
You stand or sit before your reflection — no filters, no distractions.
You breathe.
You soften.
You speak.
Sometimes what comes is sorrow.
Sometimes silence.
Sometimes rage you didn’t know you still carried.
And sometimes, for the first time in years, you say to yourself:
“I see you. I’m listening now.”

This is how healing begins not through force, but through willingness.
The Mirror doesn’t fix you.

It reminds you that you were never broken.
It creates a safe space to witness your truth without judgment.
It dissolves the shame that was never yours to carry.
It awakens the woman underneath the mask, the one who is ready to come home.
You do not need to be ready.

You just need to be willing to see.
And from there, everything begins to soften.

Happy Valentines friends..beautiful flowers from my daughter Jill … and lots of love from the grands and Dava and Brett…whether u r alone or blessed to be with your special person celebrate yourself with love.. lets take that love send it to ourselves first and then back out to the world as our world needs more love xo and it starts with taking better. Care of ourselves and then extends out to others one person at a time💜

We’re not always in control of what happens, but we’re responsible for who we choose to be in the space of what happens.

Will we be a victim of our circumstances, or someone who masters them?

Will we make bad things even worse with negative attitudes, or be agents of transformation through positive thought and action?

Will we be sucked into the darkness, or someone who shines the light that dissolves it?

The time is now to decide who we will be this year. There’s no question but that the year will pose challenges; the issue is whether or not we will rise to meet them.
