As we prepare for an exciting new chapter, we want to share that we are no longer accepting new patients at this time. We are currently in the process of transitioning to a new position, and as a result, our availability will be extremely limited going forward.

Pilot First Aid Course (PFAC) was a huge success. 26 people received training on aviation related emergencies and stabilizing treatments. Big shout out to KULM airport (D03) for their hospitality! Nicest grass strip in the state!

PFAC - Pilot First Aid Course is starting off great! KULM airport has been amazing hosts, with fresh walleye fish fry (thanks Al!), Jess made fresh baked goods/beans (thank you!), and we have 10 airplanes and 20 people camping out, sharing stories, and excited to learn about treating emergencies tomorrow!

Prior COVID and your Medical, FAA update:

1) IF hospitalized in the ICU, your AME will have to defer your medical and send in all medical records to the FAA who will issue a regular medical, special issuance, or denial.

2) IF still persistent/residual symptoms the AME has to defer your medical, and FAA will make determination based off records submitted.

3) IF outpatient COVID and full recovery OR non ICU hospitalized and full recovery your AME is able to issue your medical.

As always, consult your AME prior to your medical to discuss any records that may be needed for review to ensure a smooth medical application.
