The highly anticipated, flawlessly appointed The Peristyle at Beau West is Mandeville's first and only memory care exclusive community, specially designed and built for residents living with Alzheimer’s/dementia. The Peristyle at Beau West features the state-of-the-art Alzheimer's Education and Support Center, a full time Activities Director, around-the-clock nurses, a full staff that has undergone extensive dementia care training, and two peaceful and private therapeutic gardens. The Peristyle at Beau West boasts the exclusive Neighborhood Design layout, meaning that it is divided into two distinct neighborhoods (The Ponchartrain and the Fontainbleau) that group residents with similar abilities together. Although both neighborhoods enjoy the same premium amenities and exceptional level of care, we have found that placing residents among neighbors functioning at similar levels allows for optimum socialization and specialized care, leading to happier and more well-adjusted residents.
