❓ How often should my pet be vaccinated?

Clear answer:
• Puppies and kittens: Vaccinated every 3–4 weeks until around 16 weeks old
• Adult pets: Booster vaccines every year or every 1–3 years, depending on the vaccine and lifestyle

In some cases, Mandeville Animal Hospital may recommend vaccine titers instead of automatically revaccinating. Titers measure your pet’s immunity and help determine if a booster is truly needed.

Bacchus understood the assignment… almost. 😆🐾

Nail trim day at Mandeville Animal Hospital and he was the best boy, even if sitting still for a photo was not part of the deal. Lots of wiggles, lots of patience, and plenty of good behavior all around.

Nail Trim Trivia 🐶✂️
• Long nails can affect a dog’s posture and cause joint discomfort
• Regular nail trims help prevent painful breaks and splitting
• If you hear clicking on the floor, it is time for a trim
• Starting nail trims early helps dogs feel more comfortable as they grow
