HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO IPT!!!

Integrity Physical Therapy turned 9 years old on April 3. That means it is time for more cookie cake! What an amazing 9 years it has been. We couldn’t have experienced the growth we have seen without what we proudly feel is the best staff around. We came up with a treatment plan that focused on simple exercises and light manual interventions. Mrs. Sandra came in for a few weeks with the goals of understanding her neck pain and stiffness more and gathering the tools to treat this issue independently. She responded to manual joint mobilizations, extension/ retraction based exercises, and mechanical traction. She even was able to get a portable traction device for her neck to use in the future. It was emphasized to her that her home exercises will be the most important tool to help control her symptoms, and she was happy with her progress!

Meagan came in with chronic knee pain which presented itself mostly when walking on an inclined treadmill. Once the pain onset occurred , it affected her ability to perform hobbies and daily activities. Meagan was diligent in consistently attending PT and very quickly learned her exercises to put in extra effort at home with her home exercise program. Dwayne came in following a stroke with weakness, decreased endurance, impaired balance, and impaired coordination. He put in more work day in and out than anyone else, while pushing himself to be his best. Dwayne always showed up with a great attitude and ready to put forth as much effort as possible. Through a consistent regiment, he improved in all functional aspects including gait, balance, coordination, strength, and endurance. He is back to all activities including work.
