Our Story
Rapid Urgent Care is located at 1111 North Causeway Blvd, in Mandeville approximately one mile north of the bridge.
Rapid Urgent Care's first location was started in Mandeville, so we are happy to call it home. This vibrant community is well known for its excellent schools and well informed population that always demands the best! Therefore, Rapid Urgent Care offers nothing less. Our state of the art facility always has a physician on site as we are open every single day of the year including holidays.
The Mandeville location offers an extensive array of occupational health services including drug screenings and DOT physical exams. Rapid Urgent Care in Mandeville includes X-Ray and Lab facilities on site. This office is open late to meet the specific needs of the community. This location is open until 8 pm each weekday, and from 9 am to 5 pm every Saturday and Sunday.
The most common things we treat at this location are flu and flu-like ilnesses. These include colds, sore throats, bronchitis, asthma, strep throat. We also treat sprains, minor trauma, and fractures. Our on site X-Ray facility can help to determine if you have a broken bone or perhaps just a sprained muscle.
Physical Exams are also common at Rapid Urgent Care and range from a simple school sport's physical or a more complicated DOT physical for your work place.
Our physicians also commonly treat simple cuts and lacerations providing quick placement and removal of sutures (stitches).
We treat a full range of other ailments and conditions ranging from rashes and hay fever to treatment for STD.
The Mandeville location of Rapid Urgent Care is in network with most major insurance carriers including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, CIgna, United Healthcare, Humana, and Coventry. We also accept Medicare and Tricare at this location.
