Lauren M. Helm, LCSW My name is Lauren Helm. I am a clinical social worker and therapist. I work with adults and adolescents struggling with emotional issues.

Symptoms and diagnoses range from sadness, low self esteem, difficulty adjusting to change, trauma based symptoms and panic attacks; to depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, eating disorders and thought disorders. I am experienced in individual, couples, family and group therapy in both outpatient and inpatient settings. My approach is strengths-based and insight oriented. I received a Psychology Degree from Rhodes College in Memphis TN, and a Masters Degree in Social Work from Tulane University. My work experience includes the role of Program Therapist at Genesis Specialty Hospital (an inpatient psychiatric unit), and Therapist/Case Manager at Beacon Behavioral Intensive Outpatient Facility. Since 2012, I have been in Private Practice.
