Her smile is very contagious! 🥰Person Centered Care Award goes to Candy Williams this month! Every month, residents meet together for Resident Council, and they get to nominate and vote on an employee who stands out to them. Here are some of the things that residents said about her. " She's sweet. She takes time to listen to us. She helps us when we need help. She sees things and she takes care of them without having to ask or tell her. She stands up for us even when she has to go against employees. She also tells us when we're wrong (in a nice way) and when we are not wrong. We love her and don't know what we would do without her." Thank you, Candy, for all that you do and for loving our residents the way that you do.❤️

One day our Business Office Manager Dana Thompson looked out the window and this is what she saw. We had a surprise visit from a turtle named Henry. Henry lives about a block down the street. His original owners were Chris and Barb Halford. Chris got him for a Father’s Day present 13 yrs ago. Chris said at that time he was about the size of his hand. He has new owners now and lives just down the street from the nursing home. Someone left the gate open and Henry took an afternoon stroll.

Happy Sunday! A word of advice from our very own preacher in the house Corena Andrews. Mrs. Andrews quotes Psalm 118:24 "This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it."
