Friday, we celebrated the last day of Skilled Nursing Week! It was filled with laughs and smiles! From scavenger hunts, prize drawings, and affirmations from residents to staff, staff to residents, and staff to staff. This year the theme was In Bloom 💐. We strive to help our residents bloom in friendships and abilities with activities and by advocating for them. HAPPY NATIONAL NURSING HOME WEEK! It was a great one!

Did you know that the color yellow can boost moods and stimulate appetite in the older population? We do! We continued our celebration of Nursing Home Week with lemonade 🍋 🥤and yellow all over! We ended the day with a rousing game of Co****le!

Tuesday we continued our celebration of Nursing Home Week with the color pink and a taco 🌮 bar! Good Shepherd Hospice also stopped in and treated us with ice cream sundaes 🍨!! 🌸
