I perform adult otoplasty or “ear pinning” with my patients awake with regional blocks. While it may take longer, it allows me to be more precise since the patient is able to freely move their head to confirm position.
I always let patients know that the ears will be similar but not exactly the same since the left and right sides of our faces are different.
This technique also avoids the side effects of general anesthesia or sedation.

@Renuvion or jplasma uses helium gas and radio-frequency energy to tighten skin. This procedure can be performed with or without liposuction which can be added to remove stubborn areas of fat. The energy is applied to the deep layers of the skin and connective tissue resulting in immediately visible tightening.
In this video we are performing renuvion with local anesthesia. The patient was able to get up and walked out of the office when we were done.

There are many providers advertising treatments for hairloss focusing on making a sale. My approach is to develop a relationship with my patients. This starts with an in depth consultation. My goal is not making sale but to know I gave my patient the best treatment options.
Our consult had a previous Follicular Unit Transplantation (FUT), also known as a “strip” procedure. I proposed a manual Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) procedure to add more hair to areas of loss instead of a robotic FUE procedure since the scar tissue from his previous procedure would pose challenges. Together we came up with a treatment plan that he is confident with.

When something catches your eye it is considered “attractive”. A recent study using eye tracking determined that despite trends in lip augmentation the group of study participants considered a lower lip slightly larger than the upper lip to be consider more "attractive".

My patient sustained a laceration to his forehead and was away from home. He was not able to seek proper medical attention and came to my office. I debrided the wound and repaired it in layers to minimize the scar he would have had if left untreated. So happy to have helped him look and feel his best after an unfortunate situation.
