Center for Addiction Services and Personalized Interventions Research We provide research-based psychotherapy treatment for alcohol use disorders to help people reduce alcohol consumption to moderate levels.

The Center for Addiction Services and Personalized Interventions Research (CASPIR) is a psychology research lab that investigates how psychotherapy and mobile technology-based interventions can be helpful for people who are thinking about cutting back on drinking, but not wanting to stop completely. CASPIR was started in the fall of 2004 by Dr. Jonathan Morgenstern, a research psychologist special

izing in Alcohol Use Disorders, at Columbia University Medical Center in New York City. In the fall of 2014, Dr. Morgenstern and the lab joined North Shore-LIJ Health Care Systems, and are now located in Great Neck, Long Island.
