💪 Shoulder Health WOD 13 — Build Strength, Control & Resilience

WOD 13 | Shoulder Functional Care
1️⃣ Rig Hang – 4 x :15 sec
2️⃣ Scapular Pull-Ups – 3 x 8
3️⃣ Banded Lat Pull Downs – 2 x 25

These movements target scapular stability and lat activation, two key pieces for keeping your shoulders healthy and strong through pressing, pulling, and overhead work.

✅ Rig Hang – Decompresses the shoulder joint while building grip and passive stability.
✅ Scapular Pull-Ups – Teach your scapulae to move with control before loading with full pull-ups.
✅ Banded Lat Pull Downs – Strengthen the lats to support shoulder mechanics and reduce impingement risk.

👉 Add this into your warm-up or active recovery day to keep your shoulders moving well and performing strong.

Today we’re hitting three movements designed to bulletproof your shoulders:
1️⃣ Cuban Presses (2x10) – wake up those rotator cuffs and stabilize the joint.
2️⃣ DB High Pulls (4x5) – build upper back + trap strength for better shoulder mechanics.
3️⃣ DB Press (4x5) – lock in overhead stability and strength.

👉 Pro tip: The pulls and presses are programmed at 110% of your 10RM for a strength stimulus while still focusing on control and form.
