My work with couples is strengths-based and collaborative while providing action steps to help each person to be mindful, to be open to being wrong, to listen to their partner, to consider why they’re triggered and to be calm. I came across this brief article that is food for thought.

How we argue can dramatically affect our personal health and the health of our relationship. Here's how to resolve conflict in a healthier way.

Spending time outdoors in nature can improve your mood, lower your anxiety, and even improve your creativity and problem-solving skills. Plus it’s good for your physical health too.

This Valentine’s Day, Choose Love—Starting with Yourself

Love is not about losing yourself in someone else; it’s about growing together while staying whole. A secure, fulfilling relationship isn’t built on self-sacrifice but on mutual respect, healthy boundaries, and shared joy.

Being sellful—nurturing yourself while giving to others—ensures that love is abundant, not draining. You don’t have to disappear to be loved; the right people will cherish you for showing up fully, just as you are.

So today, whether you’re celebrating with a partner or embracing your own company, remember: Love starts with you. Be kind to yourself, honor your needs, and give the love you wish to receive—first to yourself, then to the world.

In the stillness of winter it can be easier to connect with ourselves and to find clarity. I know that taking just five minutes a day can help to reduce stress, improve focus, and foster a sense of calm. Helpful tools include guided meditation, alternate nostril breathing, or just sitting in quiet and letting go of your thoughts. Attached is an article with more food for thought.
