A simple beginning. Th
e idea for Soul Wipe came to be during the height of the 2020 novel corona virus worldwide pandemic. In August 2019, I went back to an office job after being a stay-at-home mom for over 16 years. Suddenly, I was pulling double duty, and it was exhausting. Everyone in my household—including me—found it hard to adjust to my new role. Even though I was excited to dress the part and engage with exceptional colleagues again, in my head I was still a full-time mom. The expectations I put on myself at the office and at home as I was trying to do it all left me feeling like a spinning top—a spinning top without direction about to lose control. Thankfully, a friend introduced me to the healing properties and practices of essential oils in the early 2000’s. Combining them with my favorite crystals, I began to feel a sense of calm flow over me. I bought more and placed them in our bedroom, kitchen, and living room. Slowly, the entire house lightened up, and our spirits lifted. The stress of a new job proved to be merely practice compared to the chaos of disrupted schedules and the panic of wanting to keep my family safe. If this stress and fear had a smell, it was the sanitizing wipes I pulled out several times a day for various reasons; the odor began to seep into every inch of life as it weighed down my whole being.
“Why does being safe have to smell so badly?” I thought. “Why can’t these daily rituals be a time of ease?”
At that moment, I took a long breath to center myself and surrender to the plight I found us all in. I began to ponder and reflect on the things that truly brought me peace of mind to me, and also to my momma friends. My next thought was, “Why aren’t there hand-sanitizing wipes infused with essential oils? Wipes that don’t just clean my hands, but also heal my spirit?”
And Soul Wipe was born.

Why Essential Oils? I have used essential oils for years to create a sense of ease during my busy schedule. Essential oils help me calm the monkey in my brain and provide a rejuvenating sense of calm so I can center myself when I find I’m being pulled in multiple directions. Crystals serve as an enhancement to the essential oil process, by activating the energy I am trying to pull in. Each serves in different ways to heighten vibrations and allow alignment with a desired frequency to happen. Using essential oils also led me to find and begin a daily meditation practice. I found that even if I only had a few minutes—usually once in the morning and once before I go to bed—the scent of essential oils would help me change my mindset and find a sense of ease. Each oil essence and crystal pairing I practice with aims to open one of the seven chakras found in our bodies. I soaked up as much information as I could, learning the intricacies of each of the most commonly used chakras: Root, Sacral, Solar Plexus, Heart, Throat, Third Eye, and Crown. Each of these holds an energy that when activated and aligned, can take your life into the magical mystical places of your inner being.
