On May 12 the world changed for Kim Mungai and family.

He suffered a stroke and fall in his home, and was found by family in the morning.

He’s been in hospitalized in the ICU since the incident under 24 hour doctors care.

Luckily this is in Pandya hospital in Momoasa, one of the best hospitals in Kenya.

His fight to regain health and normal function is inspiring and healing - dozens and dozens of people who are supporting Kim and his fight to get back to normal.

And what a fighter he is!

I feel sorry for the nurses that don’t follow his desires.

While he is making great strides to recovery, he still needs care.

And that’s where all of us come in, the most important people in his life.

We can collect donations from anywhere through this Go Fund Me account.

Proud to be the home health care agency in Manhattan Beach.

This city means so much to me as it is the final destination from a long (and harrowing) journey.

Going from the heart of Africa through Dallas, Billings, Inglewood and now to my beloved adopted city of Manhattan Beach.

I studied to be a lab technician and worked at the largest hospital in Kenya before venturing out to my dream country in search of a new life.

I found it!

And now Iam so blessed to take care of my neighbors in their homes in this beautiful city.

Each morning I wake up and pinch myself that I get to live and help the wonderduk people in this community.

It never gets old, and I look forward to helping our fine folks heal at home.
