Dr. Kathleen Andersen, an optometrist with 25 years experience, has recently acquired Trendy Sunglasses and Optometry, the most complete and comprehensive optical shop in the South Bay and Manhattan Beach. lection of Chrome Hearts, Dita, Sama, Oliver Peoples and Barton Perreira, among others, and are introducing new innovative brands such as Mykita and Thierry Lasry. In June 2011, Dr. Andersen was recognized as an Optometric Business Innovator in "The Patient Experience", and she was the first OD in the nation to provide an advanced scanning laser that can detect heart disease by reading atherosclerosis and plaque in the retina. We have our own optical lens lab with a top of the line lens edger and tracer, allowing us to make your custom prescription glasses for you quickly.
