A question we hear often: “Isn’t a full face of Botox too much?” Here’s what has to say about this 👇
Many patients focus only on the upper face because a higher unit count can sound intimidating. But when Botox is limited to just the forehead and brows, it can actually create a disconnect—where the upper face looks refreshed, while the lower face continues to show signs of aging like laxity and early jowling.
A full-face approach allows muscle movement to be balanced more evenly, which often looks more natural than spot treating. And to put the numbers in perspective: 90–100 units is well within a safe range. Therapeutic Botox for migraines routinely uses around 155 units, and other medical indications use even more.
The key isn’t the number of units—it’s thoughtful placement, anatomy-driven dosing, and treating the face as a whole. When done correctly, results are smoother, more harmonious, and age better over time.
