Starting Monday, July 15, Shilling Construction Company Inc. will close Denison Avenue between Anderson Avenue and Claflin Road through Thursday, July 25.

A full closure of this section will begin Monday and last for at least 2 weeks while the concrete base is repaired, followed by application of paving fabric, paving operations, and pavement marking.

The official detour for Denison is on Sunset Avenue from Anderson to Claflin.

Also, while Denison concrete repairs are under way next week, Shilling will begin milling Anderson Avenue/Bluemont Avenue from 11th Street to Harris Drive. The following weeks will see concrete repairs on Anderson and Bluemont, followed by paving and pavement marking. This work is expected to last through August 9.

Anderson and Bluemont will not be fully closed during this work, but there will be shifting lane closures throughout the work zone, so watch signage carefully to be aware of possible changes as you drive through the affected sections. Please drive safely in this area, follow signage and look out for construction workers!
