With The New Year:
Please check your insurance cards prior to your appointment.
Stonecreek is not in network with all insurance plans. If your plan switched from the previous year please check to make sure you wont run into any unkown issues.
Things to look for:
-is there a doctor's name on your card that isn't who you see at Stonecreek?
If so your insurance will not allow for your visit at Stonecreek. It will be billed to you directly.
-does your card have HMO on it?
Stonecreek is not in network with HMO plans and the insurance will not allow your visit. It will be billed to you directly.

We want to help you avoid any of these problems prior to your visit.

Update on Stonecreek closure.
For the safety of our staff and patients we will be closed all day. For urgent care needs please call on our call service. 1-866-791-6546.
If you have an in office visit in the afternoon you will be contacted.
If telelvisit our providers will be doing those from their home.
Please stay safe!

There has been many comments on many sites about K+STAT Urgent Care being acquisitioned by Ascension and what is next for Stonecreek Family Physicians LLP. As the Administrator I have said we are not nor does Stonecreek plan to merge with anyone. We are committed to being a privately owned and independent family practice.

This is the information I have shared on the other sites as well about K+STAT Urgent Care.

As the Administrator of Stonecreek Family Physicians and formally K+STAT Urgent Care I would like to share the following statement with the owners permission.
K+STAT Urgent Care was opened in 2007 by the owners of Stonecreek Family Physicians at that time. They opened it to provide the community with an alternative to the ER. We worked through COVID and we have been open 362 days a year since opening. We closed only two times that I recall, due to inclimate weather for the safety of our staff.
The original owners did make the decision to sell to Acension after much thought. We wanted Manhattan to continue to have this tremendous service. Dr Hinkin took over as Medical Director when he retired from Stoncreek in 2019. Two other physician owners have since retired from Stonecreek. When Dr. Hinkin made the decision to fully retire we searched for a new medical director without success. The remaining physician owners are busy with their own primary care practices and could not commit the time required by this management position. The decision was made to consider selling to someone in the community that could provide adequate resources to allow K+STAT to continue uninterrupted service to Manhattan and the surrounding area.
The providers and staff make K+STAT who they are and almost 100% have remained. A few PRN employees that work as needed did not stay. You will continue to get high quality care from these professionals.
There is alot of negativity on FB and I wanted to share the truth of decisions made, again with permission of the owners.
Being a part of K+STAT since 2007 I have had many emotions through the acquisition. I love being a part of medicine and the role I serve in it, not as a clinical employee, but through the business side. I see all the people we help daily and that is why I have stayed in this very demanding, crazy, but most important of all rewarding field. No matter who owns K+STAT it is here to continue to serve the community and that is what is important.

History of Stonecreek

Stonecreek Family Physicians opened in 1999 with four doctors, Dr. Kevin Wall, Dr. Douglas Hinkin, Dr. Keith Wright and Dr. Debra Doubek. Understanding the need to make patients comfortable as well as the need for efficiency they worked diligently to create the blueprint for Stonecreek. Construction began in 1998 with the first patients cared for in the new facility in June 1999. Since then we have grown immensely. Currently we have 10 physicians seeing patients as well as several excellent Nurse Practioners and Physician Assistants.
