As we conclude our introductions of our nursing staff, we are proud to introduce our Vice President of Clinical Services. This role provides leadership, clinical oversight, compliance support, and staff training to ensure our nursing teams have the resources and tools needed to deliver the highest quality standards of hospice care, in all Accord agencies.

Bobbie Kramm BSN, RN

Role: Vice President of Clinical Services

Years in Nursing: 23 years

Years with Accord: 4 1/2 yrs of the most rewarding and meaningful time of my career!

What do you love most about nursing? Providing whole person centered care. Meeting patients and families where they are, and ensuring their end of life journey is centered on comfort and patient goals.

Favorite part of your job: As a Nurse Leader it is an honor to empower and support Directors of nursing and nurses in the hospice case manager role, through education, training and support.

Fun fact or hobbies:
Currently pursuing my FNP degree, no time for hobbies. Book worm, love to read/listen, and anytime spent with family.

As we come to the final day of National Nurses Week, Accord Hospice is honored to introduce our Executive Director. In this role, Cindy oversees all aspects of patient care, including our nursing staff and Director of Nursing, along with many other important responsibilities. Her clinical knowledge and leadership expertise provide guidance, support, and empowerment to our nursing staff and clinical leadership, helping ensure the highest quality of compassionate patient care throughout our community.

Years in Nursing: 35 years; 6 years as a CNA prior to that

Years with Accord: Almost 1 year!
What do you love most about nursing? Making a difference in the lives of others. As a nurse educator I enjoyed seeing students confidence build as they learned new skills.

Favorite part of your job: It’s truly an honor to lead such an amazing team. A team who embraces holistic nursing and is honored by caring for those during their end-of-life journey.

Fun fact or hobbies: I love to travel and be outdoors. I might be a little obsessed over my dogs!

As the last day of National Nurses week celebrations, we cannot conclude our celebration without recognizing and introducing our outstanding clinical leadership team, their leadership and clinical expertise empowers and supports our field staff in providing excellent patient care. What Inspires You Most About Nursing?
I am passionate about caring for others and making a meaningful difference in their lives. One of the things I value most about nursing is the variety of opportunities the profession offers, which has allowed me to grow through many different and rewarding experiences throughout my career.

Most Rewarding Part of Your Role:
Being able to support patients and their families during some of the most challenging moments of their lives and providing comfort, guidance, and compassionate care when they need it most.

Personal Interests, Hobbies, or Fun Fact:
I enjoy dancing, spending time socializing with friends and family, and appreciating the value of a good nap and work-life balance.

Fun fact or hobbies: I love cooking, fishing, hosting neighborhood cookouts.

What do you love most about nursing? Being there for those at their weakest moments and being able to make their life even a little bit better

Favorite part of your job: All of it! I've met so many amazing people and heard so many amazing stories. And I learn something new Everyday

Fun fact or hobbies: Bible Study/Journaling and Crafting. Fun fact? I was THAT crazy Football mom 😂 . And I am infection control certified since 2020.

Each year, Accord Hospice looks forward to celebrating our skilled nursing home facilities during National Skilled Nursing Home Care Week in May. We express gratitude for their compassion and dedication to those they serve. This years theme is entitled "Moments in Bloom," of which we know there are many!

Accord Hospice LOVES celebrating Nurses Week and today we continue to introduce you to our amazing nursing staff with the introduction of Vanessa Payne RN -
Vanessa started at Accord as a CNA and has worked her way up to become an RN. We are so PROUD of all her accomplishments and hard work over the years.

Years with Accord: 5 years

What do you love most about nursing? Spending time with patients and helping patients achieve the best quality of life at all stages.

Favorite part of your job: Being able to provide comfort to patients and their families during their transition through the final state of life.

Fun fact or hobbies: I love plants and have OVER 100 at home
