We’re filled with gratitude and excitement seeing more people in our community getting trained in mental health and crisis response.
On Monday, July 28, our newest Pawnee staff members and several community participants completed Mental Health First Aid—equipping them with the tools to recognize and respond to mental health challenges with care and confidence.
Then on Tuesday, August 5, staff from Bev-Hub, Kansas State University Communications, Shilling Construction Company Inc., Big Lakes Developmental Center, Inc., Kansas Big Brothers Big Sisters serving Riley, Geary, Pottawatomie Counties, and Fairfield by Marriott joined us for De-Escalation Training, hosted by the Manhattan Area Chamber of Commerce. Their commitment to learning how to respond calmly and effectively in difficult situations is inspiring.
Thank you to everyone who continues to step up and grow with us. Together, we’re building a more compassionate, connected community.
