Did you know our founder, Dr. Ryan Lee, has been serving on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic? For the past few weeks, he has been leading mobile response teams all over Massachusetts, in his role as Major with MEDCOM, Army National Guard. Dr (Major) Lee supervises and trains 18 strike teams visiting nursing homes, mental health facilities, veterans shelters, and hospitals throughout the Commonwealth, testing COVID-19 on thousands of the most vulnerable residents in our society.

He hopes to complete his deployment and return to see patients in early/mid-May. Of course, he and all staff will be fully tested and shown to be negative and asymptomatic to maximize safety for all patients. In the meantime, please call 917-747-6407 with any questions regarding emergency care. Virtual consults are available as well. Stay safe and God Bless!

We are offering virtual Facetime consults that are *100% complimentary*, especially in this difficult time for so many Americans. Yes, everyone's holed up and hunkered down... but we still need to speak, eat, and hopefully SMILE.

So, if you have any dental oncology questions during these challenging times, here's a convenient way to connect with us!

We'll make sure one of the doctors is available to hear your questions. Whether you are an existing patient of 20 years or a brand new patient, we want to show you that we care.

Please call us with any concerns, questions -- we are here for you.

Even during the COVID-19 pandemic, there will be patients with emergency situations, including pain, swelling, and other concerns.

As such, we will be open ONLY for emergency patients this week and next week. We are planning on resuming normal patient care hours on Tuesday, March 31, 2020.

It is our ethical, medical, and legal duty to provide the best care we can, without leaving anyone from feeling like there is no place to go for quality and affordable dental care, especially in a challenging time such as this. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns.

Please note that the safety and health of our patients, family, and staff are of the UTMOST importance.

I leave you with a practical tip (see picture) for you to rely on, whether it is at home or at work. Please exercise diligent hand-washing, overall hygiene, social distancing, and infection control measures -- 24/7. We will weather the storm.

Sincerely yours,
Dr. Ryan S. Lee and Staff

Here at New York Center for Dental Oncology, the safety of our patients, staff, and doctors are of the highest priority. We have always been very vigilant about our sanitation practices to prevent infections. In light of the COVID-19 issue, we are increasing our sanitizing practices in high touch-points like doorknobs, handles, keyboards, and Purell is available at many different parts of our office. If you are experiencing any flu-like symptoms please refrain from coming into the office.

Stay safe and please continue to wash your hands effectively.

Our Story

Established in 2012, we are New York’s first, oldest-established, and leading Dental Oncology practice. We are a boutique clinic dedicated to the oral and dental health of cancer patients and survivors, before, during, and after their cancer experience.

You’ve battled cancer and/or helped a loved one conquer one of life’s most difficult journeys. Now, let us step in and help rebuild your smile, your ability to eat nutritiously, your beautiful speech and daily function. One tooth and one step at a time.

We focus on minimally-invasive dental care, including cosmetic dentistry, implants, preventive care, and oral rehabilitation. We customize our approach to every individual, focusing on the specific needs of patients who experienced radiation, surgery, chemotherapy, and transplants.
