We made lava cake for breakfast and it’s a win! 1/3 cup Greek yogurt, one egg, 3 tbsp cocoa powder, some honey, chocolate chips and marshmallows in the microwave for 1 min and 30 seconds. You get a nutritious and delicious meal! Kids love it. Mother approved. ✅ we all made it together so they like it even more.

Thank you for recognizing my business as one of the best in NYC! I’ve officially been an operating business since 2017 and it feels good to be validated for my efforts another year in a row. I know there’s so much more to learn and so many ways I would like to expand my business in the future, but for now, I’m happy where I am as a working mom and business owner. Thank you for trusting me to improve your physical and mental well-being. I couldn’t do any of this without the support and trust of mt wonderful clients.

If you don’t know the story of how Pilates changed my life..here it is:
Believe it or not, I was a very lazy kid. I was chubby, clumsy, and far from athletic. In fact, I hated all forms of exercise. Being active was definitely not my cup of tea.
When I was 14 years old, my mom had me try a private Pilates lesson on the apparatus at the gym we belonged to. I tried it and actually enjoyed it. I didn’t really sweat (a plus for me) and I liked the way it made me feel. It was fun and weird all at the same time which peaked my interested. But most of all, I loved that half the class involved laying down on a strange half bed type thing (aka the reformer).
I told my mom if this is considered exercise then count me in. I like it. And nearly 17 years later, I can confirm that practicing Pilates has changed my life in so many ways.
I no longer have the same kind of back problems that I used to have. I have minor scoliosis and a leg that’s a little shorter than the other which throws my alignment out of whack. Pilates has kept me strong in the right places so that I don’t have more pain anymore. It’s improved my posture tremendously. It’s made me leaner and given me energy when I’ve had none. It’s made me aware of my body in space and has taught me how to activate proper muscles in daily life. It’s improved my confidence when I’ve had none. And it’s taught me that exercise doesn’t have to be torturous.
Pilates doesn't discriminate against age, size, physical fitness level or handicaps. That’s another one of the many reasons why I love it so much. It didn’t make me feel “less than” when I was weak and it’s pushed me beyond what I knew possible when I’m strong. The saying goes, if you don’t use it, you lose it. I plan to use all of “it” till I’m old and gray.
