Ending this month is all about firework safety. With the 4th of July around the corner, here are some facts about firework safety.
-Fireworks are not toys!
-15% of firework injuries involve the eyes.
-Fireworks can cause chemical and thermal injuries and in severe cases globe ruptures and retinal detachments.
-Do no allow children to play with fireworks without supervision.
-Sparklers are not safe, they can burn at nearly 2,000 degrees Fahrenheit.
