Infant Toddler Services of Kansas, serving Riley County, is assisting in a research study conducted by Early Markers, a small research firm funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH). This study focuses on infant movements in the first year of life and their connection to neurodevelopmental risks, such as ADHD, autism, learning disabilities, intellectual disability, and cerebral palsy.
We are looking for infants between 3-12 months old (corrected age)—both preterm and full-term.

What’s Involved?
✅ A licensed OT/PT will assess your baby’s movements in person and short video recording of your babies movements.
✅ Parents receive a risk assessment report and, if needed, referrals for follow-up care.
✅ Parents will receive $100 for participating.

Dear Infant Toddler Services Families,

Due to the forecast of severe weather this afternoon, all in-person home visits for children and families (birth to age 3) with our Infant Toddler Services team will conclude by 3:30 p.m. today. Your provider will reach out to reschedule or, if possible, arrange a virtual visit to ensure we continue supporting your family while keeping everyone safe.

The district, USD 383, is actively monitoring weather conditions and working with area responders to prioritize safety. Current forecasts predict the most severe weather for our area between 4:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.

As a reminder, all district protocols are in place to protect students and staff, including sheltering in designated areas if weather sirens are activated.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we prioritize the safety of our children, families, and staff.

Stay safe,
Micah Karl
