This week, we shine a spotlight on A.J. Patterson, Director of the Interim Family Health Foundation, and a dedicated member of our Interim family for over four years.
A.J. has a gift for building meaningful connections and offering resources and care when people need it most.
“I never initially envisioned myself working in healthcare, but I came across a great opportunity and ended up working for a large healthcare system before joining this team. I’ve found that I really enjoy connecting people with the resources they need and supporting them during challenging times.”
As Foundation Director, A.J. oversees impactful programs like the Hospice Memorial Fund, CNA scholarships, and the Medical Loan Closet, while also leading our fundraising and grant-writing efforts, all of which help us serve the community in powerful ways.
“Providing care and support for individuals when they are most vulnerable is a meaningful and rewarding experience.”
Beyond the Foundation, A.J. and his family love creating space for connection and celebration:
“Whether it’s game day, game night, a Thanksgiving feast, or a pool party in full swing, our house is the place to be. Good vibes, good people, and good times always!”
A.J.’s compassion and leadership remind us that healthcare is rooted in community and connection. We’re grateful for the heart he brings to everything he does.
