This week we’re celebrating Mysti, one of our compassionate Hospice Aides at Interim HealthCare.

Mysti has always had a deep sense of empathy and a heart for human connection, which is what led her into a career in healthcare. She says hospice work is especially meaningful:

This weekend, Interim was proud to be represented at the Holes FORE Hospice Golf Tournament by two amazing members of our Hospice team – Val and Dr. Scarbrough! ⛳️ Their team shot a 61 over 18 holes and had such a great time on the course together.

The first day of fall is a great reminder to take small steps that make a big difference in preventing falls.🍁

Some Simple Tips from Mayo Clinic Include:

Stay active with regular movement like walking can improves balance and coordination.
Check vision and hearing, even small changes in eyesight or hearing can affect stability.
Use supportive shoes with non-slip soles.

This season, let’s celebrate the beauty of falling leaves, not falling patients. 🍂
