We are a private pediatric practice, comprised of ten board certified pediatricians. We strive to provide comprehensive care from birth to 18 years of age, but refer to subspecialty healthcare professionals when necessary.

School starts soon and student safety is a top priority! Let’s keep our roads safe for kids heading to and from school.

✅ Always follow the speed limit, especially within school zones.
✅ Keep an eye out for pedestrians and bicyclists - many of our students walk or ride their bikes.
✅ When approaching a crosswalk, make sure it is empty before continuing.
✅ Drivers from either direction must stop when approaching a stopped school bus that has flashing red lights and the stop arm in use.

Although this program is greatly reduced this year, it still worth taking advantage of it!

The Sunflower Summer program allows free access to many of the largest Kansas attractions, museums and zoos for Kansas residents with students enrolled in Pre-kindergarten through 12th grade. This is the 5th year and because the legislature allocated much less money, it will run only Saturday, July 12 – Sunday, August 3!

This year there will only be one adult ticket for each party and additional adults will need to pay. Funds may run out prior to August 3. Updates about the program’s season will be delivered on the app. Always double check before you visit any attractions!

Participating venues for the program will be announced before the end of June.

2000° is dangerously HOT! Third degree burn HOT! Melting metal HOT! Just because they are legal to buy doesn’t mean that they are safe for young children HOT! Accounting for more than a third of emergency room visits for fireworks HOT!

Children between the ages of 5 and 9 are more than twice as likely as people in other age groups to be injured by fireworks HOT!

Kids spend more time in and out of different homes over the summer. If you’re visiting friend and family, remember to ask if there are guns in the home. If there are guns in a home, ask friends and family to ⁠store all fi****ms unloaded and secured with child-resistant gun locks in a locked container out of the reach and sight of children.

More than 98% of families in this country choose to vaccinate their young children.

But now, vaccine policy is being shaped by the small, extreme minority that doesn’t.

All 17 independent vaccine experts—scientists and doctors who’ve spent their careers protecting children—have been fired. Not because the science changed, but because ideology took its place.

In their seats now are individuals who not only lack the expertise we need to guide vaccine policy, but who have a track record of spreading vaccine misinformation.

This decision doesn’t reflect families. It doesn’t reflect science. It strips away the trusted voices parents rely on and replaces them with anti-vaccine activism.

That’s not protecting families. That’s taking away their power to make informed decisions—and putting kids at risk.
