Jerry Lynn Wood, 61, of Jonesboro, Arkansas passed away on September 23, 2025 at St. Bernards Medical Center. He was born on September 10, 1964 in Los Angeles, California to Melvin Dean Wood, Sr. and Sharon Ann Wood. Jerry enjoyed watching sports especially the Arkansas Razorbacks and drinking morning coffee with his wife. He was a talking grill master and enjoyed cooking out. He always was down for a good game of pool or darts.

Survivors include; wife: Shirley Hightower Wood; four children: Jeremy Wood of Spokane, Washington, Misty Rouse (Jeff) of Cash, Arkansas, William Hightower (Miranda) of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Elizabeth Ham (Tim) of Batesville, Arkansas; eleven grandchildren: Jeffery Rouse, Rainey Rouse, Jared Rouse, Xaden Hightower, Denton Hightower, Rayna Hightower, Declan Hightower, Kinsley Hightower, Falcon Hightower, Jayden Ham, Jaxon Ham; three brothers: Rickey Wood, Melvin Wood, Jr (Pam), Brian Wood (Mike); one brother in law: Ray Hightower (Paula); one sister in law: Janie Augustine (Tim); and a host of other family and friends.

Jerry was preceded in death by; his parents: Melvin Wood, Sr. and Sharon Wood; and one nephew: Timothy Augustine.

A memorial service will be held at a later date at the Community of Christ church in Caraway, Arkansas.

Patricia Jane Hawkins, 65, of Mammoth Springs, Arkansas passed away on September 24, 2025 at Baxter Regional Medical Center. She was born on July 12, 1960 in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas to Harold Wayne Gray and Mary Jane (Bristol) Gray. Patricia was a Christian. She enjoyed creating photo collages on her phone. She was an Elvis Presley fan. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Survivors include; four children: Joseph Myers (Charta) of Marmaduke, Arkansas, David Myers (Aaron) of Mammoth Springs, Arkansas, Connor Craig of Mammoth Springs, Arkansas, Alura Craig of Mammoth Springs, Arkansas; one daughter in law: Samantha Nicole Tomlinson of Clearwater, Florida; 11 grandchildren: Jyna Myers, Jordyn Thomas (Billy), David Myers, Blaine Myers, Eli Spence, Kobe Myers (Brittany), Tayler Myers (Emily), Caleb Myers (Madison), Lastyn Tomlinson, Makenna Danielle, Kennady Williams; fifteen great grandchildren; three brothers: Mike Gray (Penny) of Paragould, Arkansas, Charles Gray (Ligaya) of Topeka, Kansas, James Gray (Shelly) of Mammoth Springs, Arkansas; one sister: Velina Crouch (Butch) of Paragould, Arkansas; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.

She is preceded in death by; her parents: Harold Wayne Gray and Mary Jane (Bristol) Gray; first husband: John Darrell Myers; second husband: David Brent Hawkins; one son: Andrew Wayne Myers; and one brother: Bobby Gray.

Those to serve as pallbearers will be her family.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 29, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Faith Funeral Service in Manila, Arkansas. The family will receive visitors from 11:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Manila Cemetery in Manila, Arkansas under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.

Gary Glenn Foster, 69, of Brookland, Arkansas passed away on September 22, 2025 at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital. He was born on September 30, 1955 in Brookland, Arkansas to Bob Foster and Jessie (Richie) Anderson. Gary was a member of the Brookland Church of Christ in Brookland, Arkansas. He enjoyed working in the yard, and spending time with grandchildren and family.

Survivors include; wife of 50 years: Deborah Foster of the home; one son: Adam Foster (Kimberly) of Lafe, Arkansas; one daughter in law: Ami Foster of Jonesboro, Arkansas; seven grandchildren: Ethan Moon, Makenzie Foster, Eli Foster, Luke Foster, Simon Foster, Marshall Foster, Arthur Foster; one brother: Gene Foster (Joann) of Brookland, Arkansas; one brother in law: Larry Keller of Paragould, Arkansas; and a host of other family and friends.

He is preceded in death by; his parents Bob and Helen Foster and Jessie Anderson; one son: Brandon Foster; and one sister: Sandy Keller.

The family has requested a private burial.

Abeer Ernest Dawood, 58, of Paragould, Arkansas passed away on September 14, 2025. He was born on December 9, 1966 in Baghdad, Iraq to Satta Dawood and Leslie (Mercer) Dawood.

Ernie loved to joke and kid around. He had a gift for making people laugh. He loved his friends and family. He was known for his big heart and how kind he was. He was always trying to help those in need and in continuing that he had decided to be an organ donor at his time of passing. He enjoyed traveling to visit his uncles, friends, and family. He also enjoyed fishing, boating, riding his motorcycles, and cooking. He has a special knack for fixing anything broken. But more than anything Ernie loved his family and friends.

Survivors include; his parents: Satta Ahmed Dawood and Leslie Gordon Dawood both of Homosassa, Florida; one son: Marlin Xavier Dawood of Blytheville, Arkansas; two daughters: Renee Diane Cataldo (Dylan) of Panora, Iowa and Amber Christine Cataldo of Des Moines, Iowa; five grandchildren: Braxton, Kole, Declan, Zorah, Trever; one brother: Peter Laheed Dawood (Deirdre) of Holiday, Florida; one sister: Lisa Dawood Hogan (Rick) of Johnston, Iowa; his fiancé: Stacy Leigh Bailey of Paragould, Arkansas; one stepson: Cameron Isaac Bailey of Paragould, Arkansas; two uncles: Campbell Mercer (Julie) and Eric Mercer (Ginny); three nephews: Nicholas S Hogan (Audra), Nathan S. Hogan, Marcus P. Hogan; several cousins, uncles, aunts, and a host of other family and friends.

He is preceded in death by; his paternal grandmother: Fakhria Al Qaisi; paternal grandfather: Ahmed Salman Dawood; and maternal grandparents: Ernest Mercer and Dorthy B Mercer.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date in October.

She was born on October 18, 1956 in San Manuel, Arizona to Ralph Hyde and Maxine Lyman. Deborah was of the Baptist faith and loved the Lord. She enjoyed singing karaoke, smoking ci******es, drinking diet cokes and diet dr. peppers, watching fast and furious movies, going to family cookouts, and spending time with family.

Survivors include; four children: Danny Hyde, Sammy Hyde, Carolyn Amiths Dogoli (Leo) of Paragould, Arkansas, Robert William Dogoli (Amanda) of Hornersville, Missouri; five grandchildren: David Amiths, Ella Alexander, Gavin Amiths, Hailee Dogoli, William Dogoli; four sisters; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.

Kenneth Blake Phillips, 47, of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas passed away on September 12, 2025 at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. He was born on April 19, 1978 in West Memphis, Arkansas to Don Phillips and Patricia (Matthews) Reeves. Kenneth enjoyed fishing, hunting, collecting guitars, and working.

Survivors include; wife: Janell Phillips of Caraway, Arkansas; one daughter: Sydney Jones of Caraway, Arkansas; one grandson (the apple of his eye): Emerson Jones; one sister: Brooke Phillips of Jonesboro, Arkansas; one niece: Alyson Phillips; two nephews: Peyton Phillips and Cross Phillips; one great niece: Celeste Phillips; several other nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.
