Bryan Lee Benson, age 56, of Harrisburg, Arkansas passed away May 26, 2026 at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital. He was born on August 25, 1969 in Denton, Texas to Larry Lee and Vonna "Doris" (Chamblis) Benson. Bryan loved classic country music and spending time with his family. He was a member of Central Community Church in Harrisburg. Bryan was member of The Jonesboro Jaycees. He also served in the National Guard, and Graduated from Delta State University.

Survivors include; one son: William Larry Benson; one daughter: Harper Bailey Benson; one brother: Brad Benson; and a host of other family and friends.

He is preceded in death by; his parents: Larry and Vonna "Doris" (Chamblis) Benson.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Survivors include; four daughters: Melissa Pemberton of Newport, Arkansas, Michelle Wagner of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Gracie Pemberton of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Emily Pemberton (Eziquiel Turner) of Jonesboro, Arkansas; one step daughter: Lori Sairls of Brookland, Arkansas; two stepsons: Josh Leach of Brookland, Arkansas and Bub Sairls of Brookland, Arkansas; one brother: David Pemberton; fourteen grandchildren: Rylee Turner, Ryder Turner, Alexis Pemberton, Dominique Wagner, Gabby Douglas, Xavier Foster, Brittany Akins, Megan Lane, Cade Burrow, Hunter Leach, Hannah Leach, Maddie Leach, Brandon Sairls, Johanna Sairls; many great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.

Lyndal Ann Mitchell, age 75, of Jonesboro, Arkansas passed away on May 24, 2026 at her home. She was born on June 18, 1950 in Fort Worth, Texas to Laymond and Nina Johnson. Lyndal was of the Southern Baptist Faith and loved reading, spending time with her cat “Houdini” and her family.

Survivors include; one son: Gage Connor Mitchell of Salem, Arkansas; two daughters: Tammy Jackson of Fort Worth, Texas and Angelica Ginn-Mitchell of Jonesboro, Arkansas; three grandchildren: Eddy Ginn of Gainesville, Texas, SteVee Jackson of Fort Worth, Texas, ArZona Jackson of Fort Worth, Texas; Two great grandchildren: Eddy Paul Ginn III and Selena Marie Ginn; and a host of other family and friends.

Leonard O. Steele, Jr., age 71, of Bourbonnais, Illinois passed away on May 22, 2026 at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. He was born on April 14, 1955 in Kankakee, Illinois to Leonard O. Steele, Sr. and Bernice (Hubler) Steele. Leonard was a member of the First Baptist Church in McCrory, Arkansas. He was a master welder and enjoyed teaching welding to others. Leonard was a “jack of all trades” and enjoyed hunting, fishing, hosting family get togethers, and spending time with friends and family.

Loretta Kay Fleshman, 73, of Paragould, Arkansas passed away on May 20, 2026 at St. Bernards Medical Center. She was born on September 9, 1952 in Geneva, Illinois to Raymond Bristol and Mary (Higgensen) Bristol. Loretta was of the methodist faith. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, watching crime shows, and spending time with family.

Survivors include; one son: Travis Fleshman (Jeff) of Kennett, Missouri; one nephew: Russell Stuebinger; two nieces: Trisha Stalker and Cheri Pappas; one brother-in-law: Dennis Stuebinger of Paragould, Arkansas; and a host of other family and friends.

Belinda Janine Loyd, age 65, of Jonesboro, Arkansas, passed away on May 13, 2026. She was born on June 27, 1960 to Robert and Hester Morphis.

Belinda was a lifelong resident of Jonesboro and a woman whose presence brought warmth, steadiness, and kindness to those around her. She enjoyed cooking, and many will remember the comfort and care she expressed through the meals she prepared. She also enjoyed reading, finding peace and enjoyment in the quiet moments spent with a good book. Belinda faithfully attended Salvation Ministries church, where she found fellowship, encouragement, and spiritual strength. Her faith was an important part of her life, and it guided her in the way she treated others with compassion, humility, and grace. She valued her church family and the sense of belonging and purpose it provided throughout the years.

She is survived by her daughter, Brandi Martin; her brothers, Denny Morphis(Debbie), Shane Morphis(Diane), and Bary Morphis(Phyllis); her sister, Rhonda Nicholas; and her grandchildren, Emma Martin, Ryder Mashburn, and Kylie Mashburn.

Belinda was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Roger Morphis.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 19, 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Salvation Ministries in Jonesboro, Arkansas with pastor Derrick Followell officiating.

Terry Edgar McCormick, age 69, was born March 7, 1957, in Monette. He passed away on May 13, 2026, surrounded by the love and memories of family and friends who will cherish him always.

Terry was the son of Hershel and Wanda McCormick, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Gary McCormick; his sister, Dian Rogers; and his brother-in-law, Tony Rogers.

Terry was a 1975 graduate of Manila High School. He retired from Sanders Inc. in Leachville, where he was widely known for his strong work ethic and exceptional forklift skills. He took pride in his work and earned the respect of those who worked alongside him through many years of dedication.

Outside of work, Terry found his greatest joy in spending time with family, watching movies, and taking road trips. He had a big heart for those he loved and never missed an opportunity to support and encourage the people closest to him. Terry was a passionate sports fan who faithfully cheered for the Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Lakers, the Arkansas Razorbacks, and the Manila Lions.

More than anything, Terry was the biggest fan of his nieces and nephews. He kept up with each of them throughout the years and took great pride in their lives and accomplishments.

Terry leaves behind his sisters, Ellen Deaton (David Joe) and Linda Vaughan (Ronald); his brother, Doug McCormick; his loving nieces, Melissa Kime (Jeff) and Amy Cox (Kevin); and nephews Brian McCormick, Joey Vaughan (Kimberly), Bobby Vaughan (Kate August), Bubba Deaton (Courtney), and Chris Rogers. He also leaves behind 11 great-nieces and great-nephews, and one great-great-nephew, along with many extended family members and dear friends who will forever treasure his memory.

Terry will be deeply missed by all of his family and friends, but the love, laughter, and memories he shared will remain in their hearts forever.

All friends and family members are welcome to attend a graveside service on Saturday, May 23, at 10:00 a.m. at the Monette Cemetery.

She was born on August 8, 1938 in Caraway, Arkansas to Luther and Edith (Kirby) Wilkins. Shirley was a member of Woods Chapel Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening flowers, cooking for her grandchildren, and spending time with family.

Survivors include; one daughter: Connie Newman (Bill) of Temecula, California; one son: Ed Vickery (Misti) of Jonesboro, Arkansas; one brother: Ronnie Wilkins of Alabama; five grandchildren: Jennifer Haub (Matthew), Danielle Flynn (Erin), Jacob Vickery (Claire), Sarah Freeman (Jonathan), Seth Vickery (Jill); seven great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.

She is preceded in death by; her parents: Luther and Edith (Kirby) Wilkins; husband: Loyd Vickery; and four siblings: Gerald Wilkins, Joann Burtman, Danny Wilkins, Judy Burche.

Those to honor as pallbearers will be; Bill Newman, Jacob Vickery, Seth Vickery, Aaron Farley, Daniel Hathcoat, and Shawn Smith.

The family will receive visitors from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Woods Chapel Baptist Church on Tuesday, May 12, 2026. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at Pinelog Cemetery in Brookland, Arkansas with pastor Rick Hathcoat and pastor Jonathan Freeman officiating under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.
