As we head into this Memorial Day weekend, we want to remind our community to please be safe, enjoy time with family and friends, watch over one another, and take a moment to remember what this weekend truly represents.

Our freedom was not free. It came at a cost — paid by brave men and women who gave everything so that we could live in peace, raise our families, worship freely, and enjoy the blessings of this country.

Enjoy the weekend, hold your loved ones close, and please remember the families who are carrying the loss of those who never made it home.

May we honor them not only with our words, but with grateful hearts.
