We always say just because it is natural does not make it safe. Mass produced supplements that standardize one active ingredient from a plant is pretty much the same as what the pharmaceutical industry does. And people selling said supplements whether at your local networking meeting or all over TikTok with zero training on how the human body works are not equipped to give medical OR herbal advice. There is no magic bullet, there is no one sized fits all approach. That IS what sets herbalism and most other holistic modalities apart from allopathic medicine. By its very definition Holistic means to look at the whole person and in the case of herbalism the whole plant.
We also approach people with the notion that they are already whole. If it is being marketed to you as "you need to fix xyz" and its designed to make you feel less than or somehow a natural life transition like (childbirth, menopause) needs to be fixed run far away.
