Hear the drama of a great love triangle Apr 11 @ Capitol Civic Centre

Kicking off the show is a piece by Mozart, the overture to the opera Lucio Silla. Love, power, vengeance, murder. It's all there. The story is about the ancient Roman dictator Lucio Silla, who has the hots for Giunia, daughter of his political enemy. But Giunia loves another, the exiled senator Cecilio. The music is 🔥

Also on the program is Beethoven's first symphony and Bruch's transcendent violin concerto, featuring guest artist Andrew Dunlap.
