Meet Jim - and his new work shoes. 🥾

Jim came to Juniper Strength & Recovery Studio wanting orthotics to support his stiff ankle. He had an ankle fusion from 1983 and figured that was just life.

DPT Liz saw a brighter future for his feet!

After working together, Jim went from -13 degrees of dorsiflexion to -3 degrees (4 degrees passively). For the right shoe to support that work, Liz sent him to The Heel Shoe Fitters in Green Bay - because the shoe matters just as much as the work inside it. A foot-shaped toe box lets the big toe stay straight for better stability and power, and gives the whole foot room to do what it was always meant to do.

Sometimes you come in for a quick fix and leave with a whole new future for your feet.
