Felician Village, located in Manitowoc Wisconsin, is Manitowoc County's most comprehensive living environment for adults 55 and better. From independent living to assisted living, skilled nursing care and rehabilitation services, no one else offers our continuum of care or such complete and comprehensive services, all in a Christian environment. The Gardens at Felician Village is the independent l

iving part of our campus and offers housing in spacious 1, 2 & 3 bedroom garden homes and apartments. At The Gardens, residents enjoy all the comforts of home without the inconveniences. Your monthly service fee includes maintenance, lawn care, snow removal, garbage and recycling service, and appliances such as a microwave, refrigerator, stove and washer/dryer. Residents have access to three different dining
areas each offering a variety of menu options. The Court at Felician Village is a state certified Residential Care Apartment Complex (RCAC) and is one of two assisted living options on the Felician Village campus. From assistance with daily activities to therapy or nursing services such as medication management, our residents receive the level of care that best suits their needs. For living quarters, you can choose either a one or two bedroom spacious apartment that truly provides all the comforts of home. The Villa at Felician Village is a Community Based Residential Facility (CBRF) and is another type of assisted living facility. The Villa has two households with room for 16 residents in each. One of the households is designed for individuals who have early to mid-stage dementia. All residents enjoy security and support in a group home environment, as well as on-site caregivers. Mary's at Felician Village is a skilled nursing facility fully licensed by the State of Wisconsin. Residents receive the highest quality of care in a secure, comfortable and supportive environment. One of the households specializes in caring for residents with Alzheimer's or a related dementia. Next Step at Felician Village helps bridge the gap between hospital and home by providing transitional care and rehabilitation services all in a dedicated household. Our patient - focused amenities include private rooms with showers, three meals daily, recreational activities and direct access to campus amenities. Next Step also provides a full range of speech, occupational and physical therapy services. Our therapy department is furnished with the latest equipment allowing patients to safely practice and strengthen a variety of skills utilized in daily living.

Congratulations to the Mission Excellence Winner, Isabel, CNA!

Her nomination said, "I have very closely been observing her for a few weeks. Last night, for example, I was sitting in the dark looking at some pictures from home and she appeared coincidentally at my back and comforted me as I was crying. Also, I have noticed how she greets us with a beautiful smile and a helping hand. Last week
she was extremely sensitive to all my needs and was completely helpful. She anticipates our needs and is right there with a helping hand and smile."

It was a fun-filled week it was across the Felician Village campus during Celebrating Seniors Week, May 11–15! 🌟
This year’s theme, “Living Through the Decades,” brought plenty of smiles with themed dress-up days and engaging activities like decades trivia, donut day, CARDO, an employee luncheon, Mimosas and Mamas, LIVE music and so much more! All that led to so many special moments shared between employees and residents.
We’re so grateful for our incredible employees whose dedication and compassion make Felician Village such a special place, and we loved celebrating the amazing residents who inspire us every day.💕

Last week, we welcomed juniors from Roncalli Catholic Schools High School for a special visit to learn about the history and ministry of the Felician Sisters. Theology teacher, Paul, shared how the students explore local church history each year to better understand the generations who came before them.

Barb Spies, FV Director of Mission Services and Pastoral Care, met with the students and talked about the arrival of the Felician Sisters to Wisconsin, the request from a Polish priest in Manitowoc for sisters to serve here, and how their ministry grew through the years. The visit also included time at St. Mary’s Cemetery to learn more about the history of the site and those who helped shape our community.

This year marks Father Foley’s 67th anniversary as a priest, and Renee celebrated her 67th birthday back in January. We’d say that’s pretty special.

The Gardens residents’ grass heads are having some very good hair days lately! 🌱
The little sprouts they planted a few weeks ago are now growing some pretty impressive “hair.” We’d say they’re looking quite stylish!
