As 2024 comes to a close, we’re proud to celebrate a huge milestone at Caravel Autism Health. This year, 35 of our teammates became Board Certified Behavior Analysts, and we currently have 104 teammates actively working towards this goal!
Becoming a BCBA is no small feat. It requires a significant investment of time, effort, and dedication. After completing both a Bachelor’s & Masters degree, individuals must complete 2,000 hours of clinical supervision, all while balancing the demands of their personal & professional lives. On top of that, candidates must pass a rigorous board exam. It’s a challenging journey, but it’s one that reflects an unwavering commitment to improving the lives of those with autism and other developmental disabilities.
At Caravel, we are fully invested in supporting our teammates through this process. Not only do we offer financial assistance to help offset the costs of coursework and certification, but we also offer hands-on clinical supervision and mentorship throughout the journey. Our team’s success is a testament to the dedication and passion of everyone involved—both those who are earning their BCBA certification and the leaders who provide the guidance and resources to make it happen.
We’re so proud of the 35 new BCBAs who have continued to be part of our team, and we look forward to continuing to support and celebrate the achievements of all our teammates working toward this important milestone in 2025 and beyond. Here’s to another year of growth, learning, and making a difference in the lives of the individuals we serve!
