Our Story
The benefit of evidenced based prevention programming has been well established in recent years. A critical component to reducing recidivism is to identify and employ therapeutic and education based substance abuse interventions. Early intervention has been shown to be effective in reducing high risk using behavior, which yields positive results for individuals, family's, and our communities. Our simple yet highly effective program educates, engages and empowers each participant to be able to change the things they need and want to change. Stages of Change Center offers live interactive online workshops for those who prefer an e-learning experience or for whom transportation or a busy schedule is a challenge. As always, we will continue to offer in-person assessments and class room style workshops for those who prefer face to face engagements in Mankato. Stages of Change Center is locally owned, respected and referred to by families, probation departments, courts, attorneys, employers as well as past clients whose lives have been positively impacted by our program. Connect with Stages of Change Center when a chemical use assessment, alcohol and drug programming, and/or intervention programming is needed to address and resolve: • A Drug or Alcohol use violation at work • Pending DUI or other alcohol or drug related charges • Participation in Ignition Interlock • Holds on Professional Licensing & Certification due to past use violation • Assessment or program participation in personal injury, divorce or child custody case • Compliance with court ordered assessment recommendations or conditions of supervision
