On May 16th, 2026, Together for Mental Health Mankato is hosting a FREE event at Sibley Park’s Pavilions. From 2-5 PM, there will be mental health-themed activities suitable for all ages, music from KMSU, food trucks, and more! This is a great opportunity to discover accessible resources and services that can meet your unique needs. It's always great seeing our students from the Rural Behavioral Health Clinic in the community, putting their skills into action at resource fairs. From offering support to creating welcoming spaces, they embody what it means to care for others. Their impact is real—and it matters. 💜💛

We were honored to be a part of South Central Minnesota’s Project Community Connect. This event provides resources of all kinds, from free haircuts to mental health programs. All are welcome to participate and access resources and services they need. Project Community Connect portrays the importance of community connections and increasing accessibility within rural areas. It was wonderful recognizing and celebrating our 2026 Rural Behavioral Health Award honorees last evening! Their leadership, compassion, and innovation are helping improve behavioral health outcomes for rural Minnesotans. We also recognized Dr. Paul Mackie with our first Foundations & Forward Award. Thank you to all of the MSU leadership, advisory board members, community partners, as well as the staff, affiliated faculty, and students who helped us celebrate this special evening.
