Great job Dr Luke!

A middle-aged patient returned to the clinic 2 years after her last flare up. I often start appointments like that with “What’s new?! How have you been?”... she smiled and gave me one of my favorite answers. “I’m back in the gym. Got my weight back up and I’ve never felt stronger. Been training my back and it’s been doing so much better. My partner has been helping me with my nutrition and that’s also been a big help. Overall I’m doing so much better.” (Fist bump) “I just need some help with this little low back flare up so I can get back to it.”

One of the hardest parts of the job is working with someone, getting to know them, and then not getting to see them for years. I always hope people are doing well, but you just never know. So when I get an update like this it makes my whole day.

⚠️ TSA agents have been dealing with reduced pay since mid-February and about 10% are calling out daily. At major airports like Atlanta, Houston, and JFK, lines are stretching to 2 to 3 hours, just to get thru security. Some travelers are showing up 4 to 5 hours early just to make their flight. 🤯 ✈️

⚠️ Airlines are cutting flights because jet fuel costs have spiked with everything happening in the Middle East. Prices are climbing and they’re not dropping anytime soon.

⚠️ If you miss your flight because of TSA delays, the airline is not required to refund you. In most cases, you will be paying to rebook a flight.

✅ Arrive at least 2-3 hours early for domestic and 3-4 for international flights (most airlines only allow you to drop your bags 3 hours prior to your departure, so extra time only works if your traveling with carry-on bags, check your airline’s bag drop opening time).

✅ TSA PreCheck is still moving much faster if you have it

✅ Check real-time wait times for your airport

TSA tracker on tsa.gov are both down right now because of the shutdown. Do NOT rely on them.
