This week is National Adult Day Services Week, and it’s a special time to celebrate the incredible impact of programs like ours here in Mankato. For 40 years, the Mankato adult day program has been a place of care and connection for older adults as well as peace of mind for their at-home caregivers.

We’re proud of the friendships built, the support shared, and the countless meaningful moments created over the decades. To our participants, families, and dedicated staff—thank you for making this community what it is. Here’s to continuing the mission of serving with dignity, compassion, and heart.

Thank you, South Central Minnesota Pride, for another outstanding celebration in Mankato!

At Ecumen Pathstone, we’re proud to be part of a community that embraces inclusivity and celebrates every person for who they are.

Pride is a reminder that when we come together in love, respect, and acceptance, we all grow stronger.

Shout out to Cub West Mankato for the generous donation of fresh flowers. Shout out to Lauren, our incredible Capstone Intern, for her hard work to make this all happen!

Residents at Ecumen Pathstone put together enough bouquets to place on every dining table on campus! With 4 dining spaces and a campus serving almost 200 older adults, that's a lot of fresh flowers and a lot of floral arrangements! They created an abundance of smiles and filled our campus with joy.

You might remember one of our Montessori Moments featuring a very special Ecumen Pathstone resident, Betty, and her very delicious onion rings.

Betty and her Late husband Norman owned a restaurant in Amboy called Norman's Cafe for 23 years. This is where their delicious onion rings were born!

Last summer, our Life Enrichment team knew there was a way to give Betty the opportunity to make her famous onion rings right here at Pathstone! It was so successful, that Betty was determined to do it again this year.

Betty took the lead once again with the assistance of her brother and sister-in-law. Residents from the Pathstone campus were eager to again help slice and separate all the onions.

What we were all looking forward to the most with the return of this activity, was sitting down and savoring the most delicious onion rings in the tri state area.

It was another special Montessori Moment at Ecumen Pathstone!

Last week, we took a moment to recognize and thank our amazing Health Unit Coordinators, Danielle and Jenny (not pictured) and Clinical Quality Coordinators Bethany and Sue. Your dedication, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence make a huge difference every single day.

Whether you're coordinating care, supporting our teams, or ensuring quality standards are met, your work is the heartbeat of our communities. We see you, we appreciate you, and we are so grateful for everything you do!

We were delighted to welcome Mending Spirits Animal Rescue to Ecumen Pathstone last week. Residents truly enjoyed the company of a variety of animals. The visit brought many smiles and meaningful moments.

Thank you, Mending Spirits, for the compassionate care you provide to animals and for sharing that with us here at Pathstone.

We took a couple of vacations this summer at Ecumen Adult Day Services in Mankato.

We saddled up and headed west for a wild western themed week. A photo booth pit stop, a picnic lunch outing, and pin the nose on the horsey!

We also sailed to the coast to enjoy the beach! We made and sipped some refreshing beach cocktails. We completed some real cute crafts and made a beach dessert with edible sand and a tasty Jello ocean. We even hit the spa for a relaxing facial.

No matter where this group goes, it's an adventure to remember!
