Garden Party Fun!!! 🌸☀️

Our directors put together a grill-out to celebrate the fun and memorable week we’ve had together! A huge thank you to our directors for all their help, our staff for everything they do each and every day, and a special shoutout to Eric for taking charge of the grill! 👏🔥

Our residents also had the chance to get outside and enjoy the beautiful weather during a south-side patio social filled with laughter, sunshine, and great company.

These Moments in Bloom this week are memories we’ll never forget, and we look forward to all the continued joy and special moments we’ll create here at Oaklawn. 🌷💚

Happy Nursing Home Week – Petals of Appreciation Day! 🌸

Our staff and residents helped brighten the front of our facility by showing off our beautiful spring flowers and even brighter smiles! Staff had fun wearing bright colors and flower accessories as we celebrate the season and look forward to summer. ☀️🌷

TJ has been with the company for over 4 years, growing from CNA to RN. We are so proud of your hard work, dedication, and accomplishments!

Nursing Home Week | May 10–16

Today we’re celebrating in green, green, and more green! 💚 Our staff is planting seeds of kindness while sharing their love for all things plants.

As a small token of appreciation, team members were gifted their very own succulent—because we truly would “succ” without them! 🌱

Our nursing staff also received a special gift from Jena, our DON, in recognition of all their hard work, dedication, and compassion as we wrap up Nurses Week.

🎉 Nurses Week Celebration — Day 3! 🩺🧡

Today was all about fun, appreciation, and a little pizza! Our residents helped put together “Nurse Survival Kits” as a special way to celebrate our amazing nursing team, and staff enjoyed pizza together while our nurses rocked their favorite fun scrubs—bringing lots of color, smiles, and personality to the day.

We’re so thankful for the compassion, dedication, and heart our nurses bring each and every day. You make Oaklawn shine!

Miranda is the North Unit’s nurse manager and was recognized this week for consistently going above and beyond in her communication with residents and their families. Her compassion, leadership, and dedication do not go unnoticed. Thank you, Miranda, for the incredible care you provide each day!

Kirsten continues to be an incredible team player and leader for Oaklawn. She is someone our staff can always rely on, turn to, and depend on. Today, our LPN care coordinator Karen surprised the team with thoughtful gifts 💐 To celebrate, we dressed up in floral outfits and took a group photo.

Today is jam-packed with events at Oaklawn! 🧡

Today, we would like to wish Mary and Kirsten a Happy Administrative Professionals Day! Mary and Kirsten are always willing to lend an extra helping hand for both staff and residents, and we appreciate all they do!

Our dress-up day for the continued celebration of HID Week is “Happy Camper!” ⛺ Our residents also made Jennifer an emergency stash—just in case she need it!
