Last Thursday, David's Refuge held their Annual Caregiver Summit! We loved connecting with other organizations and professionals here, and we're so appreciate of anyone who showed up for our presentation, "Finding Calm in Chaos: Coping Strategies for Stress and Anxiety." 🌊

Cara presented, and she noted how important it is that we "move through" our feelings, even if it means taking a step back or off to the side. What matters are the movements we make, and coping helps us achieve that movement while honoring our natural emotional reactions. Don't reduce your emotions and feelings to "just moving on" or "getting over it." Move with and move through your feelings, no matter how uncomfortable it may be!
