In an effort to connect with the residents of Brookdale Manlius, Mayor Hank Chapman was our guest of honor during this week's Coffee & Conversation program.

During the visit, he discussed community improvement and reminisced with us about past landmarks. Chapman grew up in the community, giving him a unique perspective on the village's history and its future.

His visit provided an opportunity for residents to share their thoughts and reminisce about the area's rich history. Many thanks to our Mayor for spending the morning with us!

We are wishing a very happy 91st birthday to our friend Paul Young! 🎈A proud Syracuse native, Paul is a veteran who served six years in the Army, including time stationed at Fort Carson, Colorado, and overseas in France. He then went on to a distinguished 45-year career at General Electric, rising to the position of supervisor in the print department. Paul's service and dedication are honored, and his love for reading, socializing, animals, traveling, and genealogy are celebrated. We hope you enjoy your special day Paul!

An inspiring visit occurred! Our Resident Volunteer Club had the pleasure of meeting Carrie, Volunteer Manager for the Chittenango chapter of Clear Path for Veterans, and her sweet four-legged friend, Simone.

The work Clear Path for Veterans does to empower service members, veterans and their families is impressive, especially through their innovative canine program. The bond between Carrie and Simone highlighted the positive impact these relationships have.

A partnership to support our local veteran community is anticipated! Stay tuned for more updates on upcoming collaborations!
