Another reason we don’t do Santa. Presents come from others and I want them to know that.
I also want them to understand the joy in giving to others.

I asked our six year old what he got for Christmas last year, and he couldn’t remember. But what he did remember was wrapping the Christmas presents and using an entire thing of scotch tape and how much fun that was.

This year we gave our children $5 and headed to a thrift store to see how far they could stretch their money for a sibling. It is so fun to see how well they know each other and what another sibling might really like.
