On Saturday, April 18, 2026, Frederick Boatright, Jr. passed away peacefully at the Edisto Post Acute Care Facility in Orangeburg, South Carolina.

Born on Thursday, August 15, 1963, in Manning, South Carolina, he was a son of the late Frederick and Ernestine Johnson Boatright, Sr.

Services celebrating his life will take place on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at 11:00am from the Mt. Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, Hwy. 260, Manning, where the Rev. Carnell Witherspoon, pastor of the Providence Christian Church, Sugar Hill Community of Manning, will preside. The Rev. Dr. Tyrone Cummings, pastor of the Mt. Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, will bring words comfort. The service of committal will follow in the family plot located in the St. Matthews Cemetery, Highway 261, Kingstree Hwy, Manning.

Public viewing will take place on Friday, April 24, 2026, 4:00pm - 6:00pm form the Fleming & DeLaine Chapel, 222 West Boyce St., Manning.

Born on Sunday, June 1, 1924, in Mayesville, South Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Patrick and Rebecca Williams Wells.
