On Saturday, December 6, 2025, SGM (Ret.) Reginald E. Wood Sr., husband of Connie B. Carey-Wood, departed this life at McLeod Regional Medical Center of the P*e Dee in Florence, South Carolina.

Born on Sunday, July 13, 1941, in Manhattan, New York, he was a son of the late Reginald A. and Annie B. Wood.

A service celebrating his life will take place on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at 1:00pm from the Historic Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church, 105 Dinkins St., Manning, South Carolina, where the Rev. Joe L. Roberts will preside. The Rev. Herman Holland will bring words of comfort. The service of committal will follow on Monday, December 22, 2025, at 2:00pm in the Ft. Jackson National Cemetery, 4170 Percival Rd., Columbia, South Carolina.

On Wednesday, November 26, 2025, Thomas "Tommy" Henry Boyd, husband of Helen Clark Boyd, heard the Master's call at his residence in Rock Hill, South Carolina.

Born on Monday, April 28, 1941, in Rock Hill, he was a son of the late James Elmore and Lugenia Johnson Boyd.

Services celebrating his life will take place on Sunday, December 7, 2025, at 2:00pm from the Union Baptist Church, 1195 Hands Mill Hwy., Rock Hill, where the Rev. Eddie Francis serves as pastor. The Rev. J. T. Barber, pastor of the Boyd Hill Baptist Church, will preside. On Wednesday, November 5, 2025, Willene Felder Linton, also known as "Kay Bertha," departed this life at the Lake Marion Nursing Facility in Summerton, South Carolina.

Born on Sunday, February 20, 1949, in the St. Paul Community of Summerton, she was a daughter of the late Nathaniel Williams Sr. and the late Minnie Ida Brown Felder.

Services celebrating her will take place on Sunday, November 16, 2025, at 12:00 noon, from the Maranatha Seventh Day Adventist Church, 314 West Huggins St., Manning, South Carolina, where Bishop Terrance Tindal will officiate. The service of committal will follow in the family plot located in the Clark and House Cemetery, Davis Station, South Carolina.
