The Happy Kitchen is six weeks of free cooking and nutrition classes that teach adults cooking skills so participants can create affordable, nutritious meals. You will receive groceries to prepare the recipes at home and there will be guided activities for children available during classes.

👶 More women are choosing to have babies later in life, and most pregnancies after 35 will be healthy with the right care.

According to Associated Press, about 21% of U.S. births in 2023 were to women age 35+, more than double the rate in 1990. While risks like high blood pressure or gestational diabetes can increase with age, prenatal care, screenings, and healthy habits can help support safe pregnancies for both mom and baby. In 1970, Ray founded Asleep at the Wheel while farmsitting in Paw Paw, West Virginia, an unexpected start for a Philadelphia-born musician who fell in love with Western swing at a young age.
