Don’t worry…keep stepping and Trust God!

1 Corinthians 3:17
“So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.”

This video was taken 2021 by .snell. She didn’t know it but I was at one of my lowest points. I had just left my job and didn’t quite know how things were going to play out. All I knew was that I was made for more and my faith was being tested.

I don’t know what impressed me to get some headshots cuz afterall..I had nothing tangible yet, no opportunies, no funding except savings, no steady income, no staff, no building, just a vision to care for youth with more authenticity and compassion. Looking back that was the Holy Spirit saying “keep stepping forward…We will fill in the gaps in time”.

Fast forward 4 years later, that headshot has been used for multiple speaking opportunities and awards that occurred because of the helpers God used to speak life into me and share my name in spaces I was not present. 🥹🙏🏾

Yesterday, Centered Youth Clinic and Consulting - CYCC was blessed to get the greenlight for funding to finally build our own space. We dedicate that space to the 600+ lives who trusted us with their care and those who will be touched in time. Thanks for the prayers and well-wishes kn advance!

More to come as we continue this faith walk…I mean marathon 😅. And to be honest, who knows where this will lead. We are just committing to take one step forward in the present. As .snell once preached, “keep walking forward until those sliding doors (aka blessings) open”. 🙏🏾

Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes yesterday online, in-person and via other means of connections. The last year was a blur to be honest and renewed my belief in miracles. What a difference a year makes. So many red seas parted by grace..thank you Lord!

I had one of the BEST birthdays in a long time. Kept #46 simple, kid-free, playful and peaceful. I was blessed with all that I needed and more…full of unexpected belly laughs 😂 and invigorated zeal to rock this thing called life. Let’s 👏🏾do 👏🏾 this👏🏾!

I honor the themes from my conversations with colleagues and loved ones:

- caring for others should start with caring for yourself
- put on your oxygen mask first
- it’s time to thrive in the life you worked so hard to survive
- be intentional and flexible to adapt
- be present…make memories
- remain resilient in this matrix
- trust your intuition…that still small Voice
- have fun.. it is vital to living…do it more
- embrace all sides of you, unapologetically
- while you hope for the future, live today more abundantly with purpose
