Today I was invited to speak at Career Day and teach students about my career as a nutritionist. 😊

Of course, I wanted to make it fun, so I did a Food Detective blindfold taste test with Oreos vs Trader Joe’s cookies. 🍪

The teamwork and guesses were so priceless! 😊

With 22 years of experience as a holistic nutritionist, I still love sharing what I do and teaching kids how food fuels their bodies. 💪

Have you ever done a blindfold taste test before with kids? 😁

Come into my kitchen today 💕

I used to be known as the smoothie queen in my “Shrink Your Body” program, and smoothie day was everyone’s favorite day!! Mine as well and still is! 😊

Today I’m making one of my favorites, a cherry avocado smoothie! I used Greek yogurt and cottage cheese for real food protein instead of protein powder, plus ground flax for hormone support and fiber in midlife.

Simple foods that support energy, blood sugar, and metabolism can make such a difference in how we feel as our bodies change 🤗

If you’re struggling with midlife metabolism or hormone changes, feel free to reach out, I’d love to help. I share simple midlife nutrition tips here 💗

Come into my kitchen today 🍳

One thing I’m really passionate about is helping women understand the changes that happen in midlife — because I’ve been through it too.

One thing I talk about with women all the time is protein.

As we get older, we naturally start losing muscle, and muscle plays an important role in supporting metabolism.

That’s why getting enough protein becomes so important.

Today I’m making scrambled eggs with veggies, a lentil protein blend, and cottage cheese — an easy way to boost protein in a simple breakfast.

Helping women navigate midlife body changes through nutrition is a big part of the work I do. If this sounds like you, feel free to reach out.

“I’m doing the same things I’ve always done… but my body is changing.”

Midlife can bring real shifts in hormones and metabolism.

Helping women restore their energy, hormones, and metabolism is something I care deeply about.

One of the things I hear from women all the time is:

“I’m doing the same things I’ve always done… but my body is changing.”

They’re eating the same.
Moving the same.
Living the same lifestyle.

Yet suddenly their body feels different — weight gain, bloating, fatigue, hormone shifts, and a metabolism that doesn’t seem to respond the same way.

Midlife brings real changes to a woman’s body, but it doesn’t mean you have to feel stuck or frustrated.

Through holistic nutrition, I help women restore their energy, hormones, and metabolism so they can feel like themselves again.

After 22+ years in practice, helping women through these midlife changes is one of the things I’m super passionate about.

If this sounds like you, feel free to message me to learn more about working together. 😊

Comfort food with a protein twist 🍓

Chia pudding topped with walnut–cashew cream blended with dates and coconut milk. Finished with fresh raspberries.

Healthy fats + plant protein help support hormones and steady energy — without the sugar crash.

This takes chia pudding from basic to delicious. 😋

Save this if you love upgrading simple meals. #

🍋🫐 Lemon Blueberry Power Bowl

I start by making a quick wild blueberry chia “jam” on the stove — wild blueberries, chia seeds, fresh lemon, and just a touch of honey. The chia thickens it naturally while adding fiber and omega-3 support.

Then I layer it over plain Greek yogurt and cottage cheese with ground flax and a little maca for gentle hormone support.

High-protein. Antioxidant-rich. Fiber-packed.

Balanced mornings like this support steady energy, hormone health, gut balance, and that glow-from-within feeling.

Simple. Functional. Nourishing.

Save this for your next Sunday morning ❤️

Steady Energy Stir Fry Bowl 🥣

Ground chicken, broccoli, carrots, peppers, green beans, cabbage, fresh ginger, garlic, brown rice, coconut aminos, and a touch of balsamic glaze.

Balanced protein + fiber = steadier blood sugar, fewer cravings, and sustained energy.

Nothing fancy! Just consistent nourishment.

What’s your go-to easy dinner when you want something nourishing but simple? ♥️

Hormone Harmony Glow Bowl ✨

Roasted chickpeas, cabbage, kale, sweet potatoes, and a simple lemon-olive oil-Dijon-maple dressing.

This bowl supports:
• Hormone balance
• Steady blood sugar
• Inflammation support
• Skin glow

Nothing extreme. Just real food that nourishes consistently.

Comment “BOWL” if you’d like the full recipe 💛
