If you’ve looked through the photos, chances are you’ve spotted Michael T. Smith — usually in the background, quietly making things run smoothly. 👀📸

Michael goes above and beyond for his client families, his team, and the funeral profession. 🕊️ He’s volunteered countless hours to OFDA, serving on boards and committees with heart and humility. 🙌

Funeral service runs in his blood — his father was a funeral director, too. 👔 And it shows in the way Michael serves: with humility, heart, and steady dedication. ❤️

The Snyder Family

Your team at the Lexington Avenue Chapel includes (left to right) funeral directors: Gideon Snyder, Susan Dill Sean Snyder, J. Todd Snyder, and Hannah Snyder Wernecke. With a combined 80+ years of experience, their compassionate care can guide your family through the difficult loss of a loved one. Preplanning and other services are also available. Call 419-884-1711 to be immediately connected with a director.

Our Dads taught us funeral service.

Remember when your Dad taught you how to do something special? Something the two of you shared and perfected? Something no one else could do quite as well as you two could? Well, our dads taught us funeral service.

We still meet you at the door and hang your coat because some traditions are worth holding onto. Other traditions have evolved: our online tribute videos were never a part of Ora & Marion Snyder’s original service, but personal touches like photos have always been important.
